Located in the Lusaka Multi-Facility Economic Zone in Zambia, the steel plant was constructed in 2023 and has a production capacity of 300,000 tons.
The plant employs a unique, modern refining process and a comprehensive automated control system to produce high-quality steel, which is extensively used in industrial and civil construction, including highways, bridges, and other high-end areas. The first phase of production is focused on construction rebar, while the second phase will produce angle steel and channel steel.

This plant was built as a joint venture between China's PDV Group and Zambia's NICHO Group.
In Phase II there will be channel steel production with dimensions below 220 and I-beams or H-beams production with dimensions below 600.
