Located in the Lusaka Multi-Facility Economic Zone in Zambia, the steel plant was constructed in 2023 and has a production capacity of 300,000 tons.

The first phase of production is focused on construction rebar, while the second phase will produce angle steel and channel steel.

This plant was built as a joint venture between China's PDV Group and Zambia's NICHO Group.
In Phase II there will be channel steel production with dimensions below 220 and I-beams or H-beams production with dimensions below 600.
The plant site, located in the Lusaka South Multi-Facility Economic Zone (LSMFEZ) in Zambia, is currently the largest finished rebar production plant in Southern Africa.
